Made me wish I was playing BroForce. The premise of a single evolving arena is good, though.

More noticable cursor and hitbox would turn this up to a 4.

It's vampire survivors or picayune dreams, so make sure you differentiate from these games at every turn and play and know them well to avoid the same places they are weak in.

Good proof of concept. :)

This game has lived and will forever live in my memory as one of the funniest and most entertaining time capsules of its place and time. I rated 5 way back when I was 10 years old, too, so this score isn't just rose-colored shades.

Really touching and meant a lot to me. It's almost like playing this game feels like what we wish an affirmation would do, in a way. Very deep emotional reach without being too serious or anxiety-inducing in any sort of videogame-like way. If I were ever asked, I would submit this game as "Proof Videogames are Art."

It's a fun game, but why does the flail default to resting down like it's a side-view of a space arena? It should probably stop wherever it isn't being dragged anymore if it's all a top-down view, right? Feels like if the spawning isn't weighted somehow, that's a slight disadvantage over time. I didn't take off for that. Great potential. Solid little game, could blossom into something more.

Great time waster, love it. I realize it's a limitation of the touch-friendly gameplay but i really wish I could tilt left and right *while aiming*, although I probably just need to git gud.

Love the simple style where the double jump feature functions as the attack! It's really addicting to bounce around the enemies, and not too frustrating to attempt each between-door run to be perfection. No dying but, instead, consistent and self-blamable failure that only makes me want to get it right the next time. And new music every restart? I love it!

Excellent eyes-forward simulation of something that is happening behind my own pretty regularly. Gameplay-wise, I assume the red logs were to hide behind the eyes in the sky, but I never actually used them and just blazed by. I can interpret that as a continuation of the theme in the title, so I think it adds to the experience.

Thanks for this!

Surfed golden era Newgrounds as a kid. Finally decided to make a proper account in adulthood, searching for community and engagement. Perhaps I'll find some inspiration, or at least distraction.
