I used to play this chat game called Whirled, which was so fun. User-uploaded content was the dominant force on the site, which allowed you to utilize and upload your own content for use in your rooms and, in the case of music, others' rooms.
I was part of a group known as The Forever Knights, and took part in a war with "The Thing-Thing Army", an antagonistic force of folk with whom we roleplayed a large war. Later, we added a ceremonial memorial to those "lost" on both sides, and invited them to our fief and castle to drink ale and party to the caramelldansen.
Here's my homage to the old Whirled: Club Whirled, a rehashed version of Whirled that is still up and running. All it needs is more players and more money in the form of purchases of "bars" (the completely unnecessary to enjoy yourself premium currency).
